BH Pioneer Treadmill Review

The BH Fitness Pioneer Classic is a good walking treadmill. It requires very little installation and can be stored under the bed. Offcourse this really defeats the purpose of owning a treadmill, but some people are quirky like that. It features a 2.25HP Peak motor, so in real terms it would be about 1.5 – 1.75 continuous (Real Horse Power)

Incline is done manually which makes this machine somewhat behind in its time.

While the machine looks attractive, it is a very light weight small treadmill and it is not recommended that it’s used for any jogging or running. This is a good treadmill for an elderly person who is not going to require too much from the machine.... maybe keep it under the bed.. you know, for the cold days.. or when the washing line is full of wet clothes and another rack is needed.

Products advertisements state that the Pioneer Treadmill by BH Fitness features 9 challenging programs, and this is somewhat misleading. While the programs may maximise the treadmills capabilities, it is hard to consider a machine that does a top speed of 14KM/h, with manual incline of 2 degrees, and an overall machine weight of just 52 Kg, anything but challenging.

My mother bought this treadmill and loves it. It's a walking treadmill so it's not built to be a high performance unit. I think it's great value for money.
