#1Best treadmill on test by Consumer Reports —

The Precor 9.31, the junior sibling of the Precor 9.33, itself the junior sibling of the top of the domestic range Precor 9.35, came top on test when tested by Consumer Reports, the US sister magazine to Australia's Choice, outscoring by one point (out of a hundred) even the excellent Landice L7 Cardio Trainer. For more info, see http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/home-garden/sports-exercise-equipment/treadmills/index.htm
Precor treadmills are sold here in Oz by WorkoutWorld. They don't currently offer the Precor 9.31, but they do offer the 9.33 for $5,499 and the 9.35 for $5,999. Go to http://workoutworld.com.au/store/treadmills for details.
If you live too far away to visit your nearest WW franchise they tell me that the nearest franchise may ship you a Precor. But bear in mind that they won't service your treadmill under the usual 1 year labour warranty if you will be located outside the 70km service range from the nearest WW franchise.
