#2 Cannot recommendVicki 2010-03-12 22:31
We purchased the York T300+ treadmill with the intent that it would be a robust machine that would last for years with only two family members using it daily. Over the following months, we followed the recommended care and maintenance instructions carefully as per the owners manual.

Within seven months, it ceased to work. The circuit board malfunctioned rendering the machine inoperable.

Our gripe is not only that a supposedly sturdy machine with light use broke down completely, but the after sales service from this company is appalling.
It was two weeks before they contacted us after the initial complaint and it took nine weeks to have the machine repaired, and not by the company, but the part was replaced by the person who sold it to us as an act of goodwill.

Now, four months later, the same error has appeared on the display board and it has once again ceased to work. The same problem as before.
Once again, the lack of care and communication from the company is found wanting. Two weeks later and we are still waiting for the machine to be repaired.

We can not recommend this treadmill to anyone and we will not buy any York fitness equipment in the future. We no longer trust this name.

To whom it may concern,
With reference to the problem we are facing with the said machine, it shows a ERROR4, always we are trying to fix it we couldnt. We are seeking a massive help from your respective side.

We are one of the main York dealer in Jordan, we are hoping to get this thing done before we start losing our reputation, we wish not.

#4 I wouldn't recommend York eitherUnhappyx100 2010-06-22 09:14
My T300+ was working fine then after 13 months the motor died, the worst part about York is their customer service, they have a 1800 number but it is just a recorded message to tell you to email them however they don't reply to your emails either so it leaves you with nothing. Finally after a couple of angry emails I get a relpy and a technician has been out to my house 3 times to fix it, the first two he didn't have the right part the third the part was faulty, it has been 7 weeks now and it is still not fixed and they have decided to stop replying to my emails so I don't know what is happening, the only contact i have is with the technician who doesn't know anything! If you purchase York keep your gym membership just in case because if it breaks down your in for a long wait to get it fixed!

#5 Say no to YorkSteve B 2011-01-23 00:02
We bought this machine and like the people above I have had s shocking experience. At least their machine worked for a few months mine dies in the first 3 weeks and it took over 2 weeks just to get someone out to look at it. The biggest mistake I made was buying it online from a photo it looked just like any other treadmill but when I saw it in the flesh i was immediatly worried. As for the strong "Cushioned Deck Providing Excellent Shock Absorption & Comfort" well i wonder if the person that wrote this actually ever used the machine as it felt like it was about to fall apart around me and I only weigh 80kgs!!!
The 10 year motor, Lifetime frame, 2 years parts & labour electrical, 1 year other parts warranty is a joke as it takes ages to get onto anyone and then to get them out thats a whole different story.

My advice stay away from York and stay away from online sellers!
